Well, I'm taking the 2 wheeled machine down there and I know that Domino is planning on riding as well.

I thought that you had some racing to do this weekend Chad. I would be more than happy to let you ride bitch on my bike if you really want.

Big thanks to everyone that came down yesterday. It was great to see that support for the Chucktown racers. That was a tough crowd I was running with. The superstock race was a combo 2 wave start of experts and novices. I was gridded on the inside of row 11, which put me in 6th starting position. I got a great start and ran well, but got stuck behind a guy that I could not get around. My front tire was damn near touching his back tire thru alot of turns. On the last lap, a guy snuck under me in turn 6, and held me off for the finish. I ended up 8th in superstock.
In the superbike race, I jumped into 4th by turn 1, and made a pass for 3rd place. I slowly went back 1 place at a time for a finish of 7th. The track surface was cold as witches tit. Come in after the race, and the tires only felt warm.

I've got to get better on my braking. I know I'm sticking with all of them in corner speed. Next track day will be braking tests.

Thanks again to everyone coming out. That was a great confidence booster. Next round is Nashville in April.

Trey just had sinus surgery, and was unable to run, but did show up to give us his support.

Kenny ran in formula 2 and jumped into the lead at the end of lap 1. By lap 2 he had a big lead over second place. A crash occured behind them and red flagged the race for 20 minutes. They had to revert back to their original starting positions. By lap 2 Kenny was back into the lead, but had a serious lil 2 stroke machine pass him on the front strech. Kenny was on his tail thru the back section, but the 200 pound bike with 80+ H.P. was too fast on the front straight for Kennys 80+ H.P. 350 pound bike. Kenny got a well deserved 2nd place.
Kenny's second race was Lightweight superbike. With a good start he went into turn 1 in 2nd or 3rd. coming onto the front strech, he took the lead and kept it there for the remainder of the race. As the temps dropped thru the day, Kenny had to dial it back some due to decreased grip from cold tires.
Congrats to kenny on his 1st and 2nd place finishes.
